Explore the Lutherie of the 21st Century during our ‘Discovery Days’
The ‘Sound Tastings’ of JMC Lutherie are already well know, but did you know that our company also organises ‘Discovery Days’ in the Vallée de Joux. A ‘Discovery Day’ start with a ‘Sound Tasting’ by our CEO and Co-Founder Céline Renaud, followed by a visit of our workshop by our famous Luthier and inventor Jeanmichel Capt and a walk in the Risoud Forest to spot resonance spruce. The next ‘Discovery Days’ will take place in French on Tuesday 16 May and Friday 9 June 2017, and in German on Monday 22 May and Monday 19 June 2017.
During the discovery days, the participants will firstly attend a special ‘Sound Tasting’ by CEO and Founder Céline Renaud. She will invite the audience to experience an emotional and musical journey and will get a true feeling how sound transforms into music.
After a lovely lunch in one of the typical local restaurants or alpine chalets, the tour continues with a visit of the JMC Lutherie’s workshop where inventor Jeanmichel Capt will reveal its secrets of the Lutherie of the 21st century. The next stop is the Risoud Forest, home of the resonance spruce.
